ASTM International Technical Committee C03

ASTM Committee C03 on Chemical Resistant Non-Metallic Materials was formed in 1949. The Committee has not met since October 2004 and has been unsuccessful in holding a virtual meeting. The Committee, with a current membership of approximately 40, has jurisdiction over 32 standards, published in the Annual book of ASTM Standards, Volume 04.05. C03 has 4 technical subcommittees that maintains jurisdiction over these standards. Information on this subcommittee structure and C03's portfolio of approved standards and Work Items under development are available from the List of Subcommittees and Standards. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to chemical-resistant non-metallic materials such as grouts, cements, monolithic surfacings, construction units, protective linings, polymer concrete, and thermoplastic fabrications, used primarily for protection against corrosive media.
