Committee E47 on Biological Effects and Environmental Fate was formed in 1980. E47 meets in November with the annual meeting of SETAC. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 200, currently has jurisdiction over 82 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 11.06. E47 has 10 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards.
