Committee Scope

2.1 The scope of the Committee shall be the development of test methods, definitions, practices, specifications, classifications, guides, and related knowledge for:
(1) paint, varnish, lacquer, printing ink and other related coatings and materials in liquid, liquefiable, powder, or mastic form,
(2) components therof,
(3) preparation of surfaces to which such coatings are applied
(4) coating-substrate systems, and
(5) paint application tools.
