ASTM International hosted Mme. Annie Bakambamba Bululu, Chief of the Department of Importation Controls from the Office of Control (l'Office Congolais de Contrôle or OCC) of the Democratic Republic of Congo on June 18, 2009. The visit allowed for discussion and information exchange as well as opened lines of communication between ASTM and OCC. ASTM and OCC signed an MOU agreement in May 2007. Mme. Bakambamba Bululu and three additional OCC delegates visited the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday, June 19, 2009 and the information exchange was as equally successful.
