ASTM Committee F03 on Gaskets was formed in 1962. F03 meets twice a year, in April and October, with about 20 members attending two days of technical meetings. The Committee, with a membership of 34, currently has jurisdiction of 35 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 09.02. F03 has 8 technical subcommittees. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to materials used for gaskets and the development of dimensional and design considerations of gaskets.
