C09 has requested C01 adapt the term of relative density instead of the terms density, specific gravity, etc. The change will improve the cross usage of standards between the two committees. The change will also bring more uniformity to this class of terms used across the C01 standards. Before this can be done the term relative density needs to be defined in C219.
