To address ambiguity concerning whether the requirement of 5.2 for product analysis is mandatory or only applicable if the purchaser specifies Supplementary Requirement S2 or if the purchaser opts to perform a product analysis as described in ASTM A6, section 7.2, revision to paragraph 5.2 of A328 is proposed to clarify that the requirement of 5.2 is only applicable if a product analysis is made.
