Rationale

When the revision to A2.2.1 was last revised and published, the word “intended” was inadvertently dropped from the ballot item. This ballot replaces the word. The word intended is needed to qualify that intended drainage points in drainage walls shall not be sealed. Without the word, weep screeds and flashings could not be sealed in a face-sealed barrier system thereby representing a conflict.
