Rationale

Current language does not have any information on relaxation number of high-strength steel bars. This is the only ASTM prestressing material which does not specify relaxation number. There are many structures designed with high-strength steel bars and the engineer needs to know the relaxation number while they design the structure. The addition of relaxation number will certainly enhance this specification and will provide valuable information to the designer.
