Rationale

The commonly-used acronym for soft magnetic composite, SMC, is not included with the definition of the term. This ballot item is to add that acronym in parentheses after the term in the definition, and then include it in the table of acronyms in the appendix. A negative vote on Subcommittee Ballot recommended another small change, indicated below. This will be balloted concurrently for Main Committee and Subcommittee.
