New Specification for Angle of Attack (AOA) Functional Requirements
1. Scope
This standard is intended for use under MOSAIC and will be required by future MOSAIC integration standards. The intent of all MOSAIC changes is that existing LSA aircraft would be allowed to be manufactured and flown as they are now until determined otherwise by CAAsKeywords

CAAs have indicated that MOAIC or Expanded LSA aircraft with higher clean stall speeds than the current LSA limitations will require greater levels of safety. Specific requests have been made for AOA devices to be mandated on aircraft operating within the MOSAIC expanded envelope of LSA.
