1. Scope

This standard provides the minimum requirements for design, construction, performance, and testing of anti-flashback burners (AFBs) used in marine vapor control systems (VCSs). This standard is intended for anti-flashback burners that protect systems containing vapors of flammable or combustible liquids or non-high flashpoint liquids.
