Rationale

General updates to include Terminology section, allow for different end finishes, and add marking and certification requirements in line with current industry practice. Edited to address negative votes and comments. Removal of mandatory marking requirements in 8.2 and deletion of “reasonably square” sentence in 4.2. Also, deletion of “(3.2mm)” conversion of NPS 1/8 in 4.2.1. Edited 2/18/25 to address negative vote and comments. Removed the deletion of the original certification requirements in 7.1. Other editorial updates in Section 3.1 and 4.2.
