New Guide for ASTM D37 Preroll Analysis and Characterization Initiative
1. Scope
The initiative will include the following key activities: a. Development of Standards: Collaboratively develop standardized methodologies and protocols for preroll analysis, addressing key aspects such as sample preparation techniques, experimental setups, measurement procedures, and data analysis methods. b. Creation of Guidelines: Compile best practices and guidelines for preroll analysis, covering topics such as instrument calibration, quality control measures, uncertainty analysis, and reporting standards. c. Terminology Standardization: Define a common terminology framework for preroll materials and properties, including standardized definitions, classifications, and nomenclature, to enhance clarity and consistency in communication. d. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders from academia, industry, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to gather input, feedback, and expertise throughout the initiative. e.
