Rationale

Prior versions of ASTM A775, A934, and A1055 had a requirement that patching or repair material be “compatible with the coating”, with no reference to any method of determining compatibility. This language was removed from other standards pertaining to epoxy coatings, but some references to compatibility of the patch material remain in A1055. This ballot item edits patch material requirements to be in agreement with those in the other standards.
