Revision of E45-18a(2023) Standard Test Methods for Determining the Inclusion Content of Steel
Rationale
The current version of E45 paragraph 12.6.1 applies to method D. It needs to apply to Method A. Also, E45 is not intended for rating exogenous inclusions. However, the observation of this type of inclusion must be reported. Revisions to paragraphs 4.4 and 17.1 will require this reporting
