Rationale

Currently E2749 does not provide information on how far away from the exposed surface the directional flame thermometer (DFT) should be located. This proposed revision provides that information. Currently E2749 does not specify a plate thermometer to be located in the center of the assembly. This proposed revision recommends placing a plate thermometer in the center, to truly capture the uniformity of the furnace temperatures.
