Rationale

This ballot is part of the harmonization effort between E336 and E1007. During the April 2024 meeting, it was discussed that the current version of the standard requires that NIC always be reported, regardless of what other metrics are reported (with the exception of ASTC measurements in large rooms). The consensus in the room was to remove this requirement, which is the purpose of this ballot – instead, the report will only be required to present those metrics that are needed. Several minor edits are also included.
