Rationale

There are three separate revisions for this standard that were discussed at the fall 2024 meeting. The first is to adopt the absolute method for rounding practice per ASTM E29. The second is to put more precise language around the tested thicknesses definition for maximum use temperature and exothermic behavior. The third is to modify the density range for an existing Type 1, Grade 1, Category B material to allow denser materials to qualify as conforming.
