Currently no standards exist specific to the instructional content for safety ropes used for ascending and descending from a treestand. These ropes are used as anchorage points at the location of the treestand. The user can attached to this line while on the ground using a full body harness and safely ascent and descend from the elevated position. This standard proposes minimum instructional content to be provided with these types of products.
