Rationale

A576 Section 8 Certification and Test Reports currently does not give clear guidance on the reporting of some elements commonly specified by the purchaser-specifically aluminum, boron, titanium, and nitrogen. As such, seeking ballot approval to add additional language similar to that found in the A920 Standard Specification for Steel Bars Microalloy, Hot Wrought , Special Quality, Mechanical Properties which specifies such reporting.
