Rationale

This revision is complementary to WK93387, a new standard practice for open-hole and filled-hole flexure testing of polymer matrix composite laminates, and will incorporate new sections covering test method selection, test specimen design, and interferences for notched flexure, similar to existing D8509/D8509M content for other notched laminate tests (e.g. D5766/D5766M for open-hole tension, D6484/D6484M for open-hole compression, and D6742/D6742M for filled-hole tension and compression).
