Rationale

The MCCCFP test method is intended for incorporation into aviation turbine fuel specifications. In order to be consistent with aviation regulatory practices, the research report supporting the use of this test method in aviation must be filed with an organization that will facilitate accessibility and ensure document control, such as ASTM International. The proposed footnote revision meets this aviation requirement and notifies the D7094 user that the research report is filed with and available from ASTM International.
