Rationale

This ballot is to include D7345/IP 596 Test Method for Distillation (Micro Distillation Method) as an alternate test method to D86 for testing distillation points in D7566 in the following annexes: D7566 A4, A5 and A8, in alignment with existing annexes. D7345 is already included as an alternate test method in D7566 annexes’; A1, A2, A6, and A7, and were overlooked when some of the annexes were developed. This ballot was authorized at the D02.J0.6 meeting in Anaheim December 11, 2024.
