ASTM E2248 is currently up for reapproval. Upon initial review, several changes and revisions have been proposed to the standard. Additional revisions and changes have been made after this item was balloted twice in 2024. This item appeared in the following ballots: • E28 (24-03): 2 negatives, 2 comments. • E28 (24-04): 1 negative, 4 comments. All changes with respect to the current version, E2248-18, are highlighted using the “Track Changes” tool of Word. At the end of the ballot, as additional information and to facilitate the examination of sections having a high number of changes (such as section 8), a “clean” version of the revised standard is provided.
