Rationale

A new specification for pedestal-set applications (C1944 Specification for Pedestal-Set Concrete Paving Slabs) was issued last year. This ballot item modifies the scope of C1782 to direct the user Specification C1944 for those pedestal-set applications. It also modifies Note 4 in 5.4 to remove the reference to pedestal-set applications because the tolerances in Specification C1944 are the same as in this specification (C1782).
