Rationale

Dear D35.93 members We are working to establish standardized terminology for bituminous geomembranes to enhance consistency and clarity in industry communications. Standardized terms will help ensure that all stakeholders, engineers, suppliers, contractors, and clients share a common understanding, reducing potential misinterpretations and improving project specifications and performance evaluations. By normalizing this terminology, we aim to facilitate more effective discussions and documentation, support best practices, and align with broader goals of quality and sustainability in geosynthetics. We are amending the definitions for geosynthetic barrier bituminous (GBR-B) and adding a discussion.
