Revision of A463/A463M-22 Standard Specification for Steel Sheet, Aluminum-Coated, by the Hot-Dip Process
Rationale
To prevent further confusion, in hot dip metallic coated steel sheet specifications, A463, A653, A792, A875, and A1046, the following statement that is currently shown for Structural Steel Grade 80 needs to apply to all Structural Steel Grades that contain more than one Class. "When a Class for Structural Steel (SS) is not specified, Class 1 shall be furnished".
