Rationale

we would like to propose a task group to update the D2559 standard to better accommodate the distinction between face bonding and finger jointing. As the standard is written now, finger joint adhesives are required to be tested in a face bonding configuration which is not representative of how they are used in Engineered Wood products. We would propose to update wording to differentiate the two applications.
