Companion CD Now Available

ASTM International has released ASTM Standards on Lubricant Chemistry, a companion CD to Manual 59, A Comprehensive Review of Lubricant Chemistry, Technology, Selection and Design.

The CD provides 56 ASTM standards that describe and assess the properties, composition and the performance of various lubricants and fuels. Many of these tests can and are also used to assure the identity, purity and the composition of the chemical additives that are used to formulate lubricants.

The availability of these tests on a CD is not only convenient with respect to storage but it also facilitates quick searches for the appropriate test procedure, due to the presence of a numerical index. Since ASTM standards are often revised, the standards included in this CD are the most recent versions at the time of publication.
